I took the T.A.X. test in middle school and high school, I remember the teachers being required to teach the what was on the test so the kids would do better on the test. No S$^@ the the schools care more about kids performing well, then they do about TEACHING the kids. That is why most parents have a hard time helping kids with home work, they have forgotten what they learnt because of this testing system. The more we give money to schools based on test scores the worse our kids will become. Besides that, when did it become a good idea for the GOVERNMENT to tell the schools what to teach. In 1950, before most of this started, every high school student could tell you every Supreme Court Justices name, now your lucky if kids know. This move to state and national school systems is harming out youth, WE MUST GET RIDE OF IT.
